About Us
We opened 307 Processing and Sausage in Byron early 2019. My family has been a well-respected in the meat processing business with 40+ years of experience in the industry. My father, John Butler Sr. owned Cody Meats and it was a natural step for me to follow in his footsteps. Ever since I was 10 and could hold a knife and help, I was in the shop with my father processing meat. I grew up with the business.
As I got older, I ran meat departments in various stores such as Kroger and Smith’s Food and Drug in Cody, at Smith’s in Taos, N.M., and at a new City Market in Granby, Colo.
When I moved back to Cody, I took over the Marketplace Meats facility at the end of January 2019, and I have big plans! I want to thank everyone for their support, and I can’t wait for our customers to be a part of the next chapter. The Butler’s are excited to be back in business!
